Climbing and Solway sunsets.
The last 3 days have been sunny, dry and cool. On Tuesday Jeff, Pete and I walked up to Black Crag in Borrowdale and climbed Troutdale Pinnacle Direct (VS 4c). The crag was in the shade for most of the climb so it was cold on the hands but the route was excellent. We were not alone as there were at least 4 other teams on other routes.
On Monday, and today with Susan, I watched the sunset over the Solway/Irish Sea from Harrington beach - always worth a visit.
Pete and myself waiting in the queue to climb the final 2 pitches which are shared by several routes.
