Hare Crag, Eskdale.

Jeff, Pete and I took advantage of some great weather on Monday to go climbing. Jeff and I picked Pete up in Nether Wasdale and we then headed to Hare Crag in Eskdale. It is over 10 years since I last visited this granite outcrop below Hard Knott pass and I found the routes challenging. We linked 3 routes to take us from the lower buttress to the top of the Upper Wall. The routes climbed were: Gangway Variation (VS4c), Jugged Hare (MVS 4b, 4a) and Upper Slab Route 1 (VS 4b).
