Weekend visitors.

On Friday I made the most of some good weather to squeeze in an ascent of Blencathra via Halls Fell Ridge. There weren't many people on the hill and I felt quite fit after the Alps.

Halls Fell Ridge leading directly to Blencathra's summit.

A beautiful day in Lakeland.

Alec and his girl friend Martha, over on holiday from Seattle in the USA, came to visit on Saturday but we were able to squeeze in our Lorton Cycle before going to pick them up in Carlisle. Unfortunately Martha had very painful toes so we were unable to introduce her to the high fells. Instead we had a wander around Buttermere and Keswick. Both were very busy as expected on a Bank Holiday weekend.

Back on the bike.

Another one for the 'Album'.

A pleasant walk in the sunshine.
