Duddon Valley Climbing.
Jeff, Pete and I had our annual climbing trip to Wallabarrow Crag in the Duddon Valley yesterday. A late start and a slow drive meant that it was nearly midday before we started to climb. We began on the classic Thomas (S) and then moved onto a 4 pitch route we'd not climbed before - Trinity Slabs (HVD). This 2 star route had some good sections but was a little scrappy in places. The descent had us all in agony wishing that we'd brought our shoes up the route and finished us off for the day.
A beer, chips and a 'blether' in the Strands next to Pete's in Nether Wasdale was a good way to round the trip off.
