Keswick Cycle.
With another dry day forecast we decided to cycle to Keswick for lunch in Fishers Cafe. It was cold as we headed out along the Cycle Track but within 10 miles we'd warmed up and started to enjoy the increasingly autumnal views. Unfortunately I'd forgotten to charge the camera batteries so only managed to get two quick shots all day.
The route to Keswick was 25 miles and we arrived at about 11.30am. Having locked the bikes up at Booths it was lunch time by the time we'd walked to Fishers. The choice was easy on a cool day - Spicy Bean and Sausage Broth. It was superb.
We soon chilled walking around town so were soon heading for home via Cockermouth. This route is 26 miles and we were home by 3pm - in time to wash cars, cut the grass and do other household chores.
An excellent wee ride and weekend.
