Ennerdale.
Susan felt fine after yesterdays 8.5 mile wander but we decided not to do too much today to make sure she's fully recovered for next weekend and beyond. A quick check showed that she had two wee hills above Ennerdale to do - Crag Fell and Grike - so we drove the 11 miles to the Scout Camp Car Park to tick them off. The forecast suggested a poorer day than yesterday but in fact it was brighter and we enjoyed an excellent wee round. Like yesterday these fells were very quiet.
Reflections in Ennerdale Water.
Having a wee break above Angler's Crag.
Climbing towards the pinnacles on Crag Hill.
Climbing above Ennerdale Water.
'I thought this was an easy day for a lady' - climbing steeply to the summit.
Crag Hill summit for the first time - the Ennerdale Fells beyond.
Grike summit cairn ans west Cumbria beyond.
On the descent after a great wee round.
