Fellbarrow.
We decided on a lower level walk again today and headed for Loweswater and the Fellbarrow range. The parking area was empty when we arrived and we were to see very few people out on the hill. We headed up Fellbarrow first from the Mosser Road and then headed south for Low Fell. The views along the Buttermere valley were good, despite the low cloud, and I was keen to get some photos of Susan carrying her new 'Birthday' rucksack.
We had a quick drink out of the wind on Low Fell and then headed west for Darling Fell and the descent route back to the car. A heavy shower hit just as we closed the boot - perfect timing!!!
