More wind and rain.
It has officially been the wettest June since 1910 - not that we needed telling by the weather men - and July hasn't started any better. The rain has been torrential at times over the last week and we haven't felt much like cycling or heading to the fells - especially as it's also been very windy.
Yesterday the rain did ease for a short while in the afternoon so, like last week, we had a quick wander over Latrigg above Keswick.
Today dawned wet and windy so we waited for any improvement before heading back to Blake Fell to get some fresh air and a bit of exercise. We stayed dry but the summit wind made it feel more like October than July.
