Beautiful autumn day.

Today's weather was even better than Saturday with blue skies and very little wind. We wanted a lie in so chose to cycle into the Lakes. We did our 42 mile Buttermere loop and were rewarded with some lovely autumnal views. After a cool start the temperature rose to 12degrees and with no wind it felt pleasantly warm in the sun. The only disappointment was that both the Cafes in Buttermere were closed for the season. Winter is on it's way and hopefully there'll be some snow on the fells soon.

Riding home along the shore of Crummock Water.
