Blencathra (Saddleback) - again.

After a quick trip to Keswick to pick up some 'bits and pieces' I decided to make the most of a reasonable day and nipped up Blencathra again. I parked at the Blencathra Centre then walked below the fell to Hall's Fell ridge which I followed directly to the summit. Although easier than Sharp Edge this ridge gives a good grade 1 scramble if you keep to the crest all the way.
The higher fells were cloud covered again but Blencathra remained cloud free and there were some good views. Having reached the summit I traversed the mountain to Blease Fell and descend to the car. Spots of rain began to fall as I left for home.
