Car, bus, hike and launch.

Today's walk on the fells required three other modes of transport. First we drove to Keswick from where we caught the 'Honister Rambler' bus to Buttermere. It was then on to the fells to walk over Robinson, Hindscarth, Dale Head, High Spy, Maiden Moor and Cat Bells to Hawes End. From here we caught the Derwent Water Launch back to Keswick. There is something special about a linear walk like this and we had a great day. It was dry and sunny for much of the time but it was windy and it is still cool for mid-May.
Keswick was busy which must have partly been due to the annual Jazz Festival. Next weekend it's the Mountain Festival so it'll be even busier.
