Easy wander.

Unusually neither of us fancied another day up high in the biting east wind so we settled on a gentle wander along the shore of Derwent Water from Keswick. It was cloudier and milder than of late but the lake was still frozen and some people were wandering out onto it despite warnings in the media not to. The paths were very icy and at one point I had the Microspikes on and had to offer Susan a helping hand - I think she'll need a pair soon. We were later amused to see the sign below at Booths Supermarket in Keswick - a sign of how icy the paths have been.
