Return to sunshine.
The sun returned to Cumbria today and we had a great cycle to Keswick. Our route out took us over Whinlatter Pass and there were excellent views of the fells which are beginning to show their autumn colours. Keswick was quite busy partly because of the Mountain and Ultra Distance Commonwealth Championships which have been taking place in the town over the last four days.
We returned home along the eastern side of Bassenthwaite Lake before turning west through Cockermouth, Broughton Cross and Bridgefoot.
A beautiful sunny September day on route to Keswick.
