Weekender visitor
My Mum's been visiting this weekend from Leeds so we've not been on the fells but have had some good low level walks. On Friday evening the weather was superb so we had a walk around Buttermere. Saturday was also a great sunny day so we took the Ferry across Derwent Water from Keswick and walked along the lake shore to the fantastic Shepherds Cafe. Unfortunately the bridge across the river Derwent was being repaired so we had to paddle across which added a bit of excitement to the walk. We caught the Open Top bus back to Keswick.

Today was windy and overcast but we did have a pleasant walk around Cogra Moss below Blake Fell.
