Back to Whinlatter.

The weather forecast suggested a dry morning so John, Jack and I headed back to Whinlatter to attempt Grisedale Pike. The north east ridge is a direct and continuous climb to the top but a few games of 'ambush' took Jack's mind off the hard work. The views were good and we had an early lunch on the summit. A cool wind soon forced us down over Hobcarton back to the car.
A good three days on the fells and Jack has now done 28 Lakeland tops.

'Is it much further?'

'Nearly there Jack'

The final top of the visit - Grisedale Pike.

Good sandwich.

Heading down - 'Is it far?'
